Nothing makes apartment living fun like a playful animal. Fido and Felix bring a number of new elements to an apartment that than the additional smell. On any given day pets add companionship, humor, personality and tons of fun even the most monotonous dwellings. Although dogs and cats are at the forefront of domestic partners a number of non-traditional, unique and exotic, extravagant creatures available. Thus, if you are looking for a nice, small, or simply the ordinary companion check the little critters that complete my first six Single Apartment Pets.

With a lifespan of 4-6 years, Hedgehogs are relatively easy to maintain and easy to feed with high quality cat food. When threatened these animals will roll into a ball, sharp spines protrude in the back. These spines are not a great danger, but getting a hedgehog used to human handling is one of the major steps to make them feel comfortable and avoid getting poked. A quiet-looking animal that do not require much attention and are great at entertaining them themselves.
4) Chinchillas – Pets do not get much softer or cuddlier one of these very soft, furry creatures.
