Toy Safety Essentials for Parents and carers

Check toys for sharp edges or rough surfaces as they may cause injury.
Always buy washable and non-breakable toys for babies.
Regularly disinfect and rinse bath toys to prevent mold.
Warning: Anything you small enough to fit in a can of 35mm film can choke a child or children under 3 years old.
Toy chests and boxes should not be designed to close at the top of children, or, preferably, with a removable cap. Anything big enough to crawl inside must ventilation.
Always read and follow the signs marked on the new toys. "Not suitable for children under three" means that there are small parts contained in the product that could be swallowed, is not an indication of the level of skill or intelligence.
Check toys regularly for loose parts that pose risks asphyxia.
Check for gaps or holes that children "can get into the fingers.
Note that the toys can make loud noises can be harmful ear. In particular, toys that are held against the ear, as walkie-talkies and mobile phones ~ toy.
