My finches want to incubate their eggs. They had one now there are 3 eggs in the nest. How I can get it to hatch?

I have two of Indonesia Spice finches have planted more than 3 eggs the last week. The first one seemed to care who complains about the nest and spend time sitting on the egg. Then stopped! Now I see that there are 3 eggs and the only time I sit on the eggs is when the bed for the night. The eggs are covered with nesting material, but I do not sufficient to keep them warm. How I can convince the birds to incubate the eggs? Is it too late? I also realize that spending long hours the bottom of the cage during this time, as eating in the role of the sand and eat in the sand paper hangers, what about that? Put the eggs in a small box with a light bulb in it. The heat from the bulb to incubate the eggs. If the eggs are warm then you may only need incubating birds when sit on them.
