Plastic Chain

How can I fix a toilet. The plastic piece that attaches to the chain that lifts the trap was broken in half.?
Its range of construction local store (such as Home Depot or Lowe's) sells the cheapest. There is a plastic nut that holds the handle securely to the tank, which must be removed and carried to the store to make sure you the correct part. Good luck – you can!
