How do I stop my parrot bite?

I have a red-lored Amazon, which is approx. 19y / o who was my father, but it far past 3 years. The bird used to not allow anyone other pet, but my father … has now joined me very, very well but the bird goes after my mother in the house, and when it can be biting. My mother has never been able to pet, hold or approach him w / or run the risk of receiving little. I do not know if it helps, but my mother used to have to hold and give injections in the breast as a baby do to be sick and he doesn't like anyone but me no friends, family, anyone who has just Trys to bite. How can I fix this, I just wish my mother could enjoy the parrot as much as I was little.

To tell the truth, will be busy before the bird will accept his mom. Never clip the wings of birds my own 'or nails, because even I can do, begin to see myself as the "wrong" Guy. You Mom is bad now, and never can embrace with love, or her, but he will learn to be nice. You must be telling him what to do. Usual care if your mother "disciplines" because he does not worry about it. He wants your love, so every time I catch (and you wear boots or something like that can bite hard) Just go to him, pinching his beak, eye contact and say "NO" and put him in his cage (without cover). When he realizes that makes you unhappy when chasing his mom, he'll stop. In addition, your mom should not escape him! This makes a game and will do so more often. He also says he is over his mother in the hierarchy. Hope this helps! You may also consult http://www.cockatootrainer.com/biting/
