Parrot Bird

Has anyone taken, or taken a parrot or a bird that was used for breeding?
and made it a pet?
Yes I have! I have several. I also had in poultry breeder and people I worked with them to make them a little more docile and accepting human beings. Sometimes it takes awhile, other times they come around immediately. Usually, they want nothing to do with humans. Therefore, you must be patient with them. Do not push yourself in the bird. Save the bird well fed, cage clean, nice atmosphere, lots of light, sound, the happiness around. He (she) will take a while to accept the things, but will accept his new life with time. You must remember that it will spend more time working with a former breeder of what it would be in a "baby" .. The bird will feel depressed at first, and may even take it out of you. Do not take it personally. Only the treatment of chickens with love, justice, all days. Consistency, time, love and patience is the key, I can not emphasize to you the importance of not forcing the bird to be held, or do anything you do not want do. Your new bird eventually learn to love yourself for who you are, because they have allowed the bird its space. Imagine, in a cage, with this face look Great Big every day, and then those hands like "snakes" from his cage every day. sort of fear is not it? Allow the bird to get used to his face. Your smile. Your smile … hum! Sing, watch tv talk with the bird in the cage next to you. Eat with the bird, do everything you can with the bird next to him in his cage. Get a cage that sits on a cart with wheels. That's what I do. I wheel a cage around me and then the bird is with me to award. It can take months, even years. Permit. Let the bird is ready to decide when to accept it. Never "tell" the bird that should. Let the bird, a bird! That everything goes well and you can rescue a bird that needs a home. All birds to thank for it!
