parakeet signs
What is the sign of a sick parakeet?

I just got a parakeet from a friend of his about 2 years to increasingly use and I use ask a friend when I do how do I know if she might be sick, I'll have a different cage for a while so you will have your own space only if she is sick

Signs of illness in a bird include much sleep, for a leg (could mean a broken leg), feces green, looking puffy (they do to conserve body heat), no squeak or talk again, possibly not eating, not being able to perch, sitting at the bottom of the cage, sneezing. If you see any of these signs in a parakeet, take him to the vet ASAP. Birds have a tendency to hide their illness until it is too late. I've had parakeets for 15 years and always do the birds to the vet as soon as I notice something unusual.
