parakeet panting

What does it mean if a parakeet is panting, it is this ~~~~~~? serious
or should have reason to worry, I've had these Keets it 3 weeks and now I'm a little shook please answer soon!
Birds, when hot pants. Panting Though sometimes it can be a sign of problems, panting in the summer is usually a sign that your bird is too hot. You can try spraying the bird with water at room temperature in a fine mist spray a bottle of water. Just remember not to spray him directly in the face, as it would be like if I sprayed her face with a water hose. Good luck.

Panting – My bird is panting and is being treated for mites and possible infection but the panting continues. Any ideas of what else it can be if he’s not hot, or has mites or has an infection? He’s not getting better.
