Can I transfer the egg to another parakeet nest box?
I have my new cage bigger than my old one ..... My wife is starting to hatch an egg and incubated alrealdy,, Can I transfer the egg and the chicken to another nest box?? is to continue to incubate the eggs until they hatch? pls any suggestions ....
Personally I would not. Nesting is a very stressful time for a mother bird and if you move, you can alter and she could leave the nest and you may lose both the egg and chicken. I think you should wait until the egg is broken and is a little bigger. In addition to all collections of the nest where it is and that is probably very comfortable where he is now. Good luck! Please do not move them.
