Why does my parakeet eat this?

I put fruit in my parakeets cage, but does eat eggs, grape and orange. Why? doesn't everyone parakeeets well?

My parakeet wants to eat everything, beef, potatoes, eggs, cereals, everything. He leads me nutty morning when he makes a cut into the edge of the cup of raisin bran and proceeds to have breakfast with me as I am digging with a spoon! Out! Go, I say .. but always comes back for more … devil that is!
