parakeet 101

Can I house a parakeet and a cockatiel together?
I'll get a cockatiel soon and wondered if I could keep a parakeet with him. Does along or fight? Can I feed them the same meal? This is the cage I'm going to get for my cockatoo, if I do get the parrot, can they both work in this cage? Cockatiel's largest birds, the smallest parrot! THANKS !!!!! XD
1. No, it should not go home together. 2. Parakeets (or parakeets) tend not to get along with nymphs. I've heard of a rare few who do not, but often have different personalities and prefer their own space. 3. It is a very nice cage for a cockatiel, but I would recommend checking eBay there are plenty of brands that sell new cages for less. 4. Always check the oven in the end. You do not want to paint the cage or bird damage. 5. I recommend a couple of extra things – A. The purchase of the cockatoo of a trusted seller / breeder. B. Look at the tail feathers to make sure they are healthy and not broken or worn. C. Browse cockatoos nose / eyes and make sure that the bird appears healthy. 6. GOOD LUCK! cockatoos are amazing birds that are sure to interact with you and become your best friend. They are great companions. My personal recommendation is to buy a man that are more vocal and interact with humans some more.
