How often and what you feed a bird?

I found a baby bird in my yard today. Unfortunately, he was dying. The I took into the house and placed in a container with straw and paper towels. I have been feeding on milk and only a few days old. Still do not know How often should I feed or what to eat as they get older. If you have any advice then please reply, Thanks.

If the bird is fully feathered, chances are a novice and has left the nest on their own and parents caring for him. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly. You need to replace in the place she found him .. preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and parents need to feed again. If no feathers … and then find a nest and if you can find … replaced in the nest. Do not worry about your smell in birds .. girl has a poorly developed sense of the smell and will not reject a baby that has been touched. Absolute old wives tale that so many people still believe. If you can not find a nest, the bird for achieve a rehabilitation center for the local fauna is the best chance of survival. Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own. Find a rehabilitation center here: http://www.tc.umn.edu/ ~ devo0028/contact. … Birds Do not drink milk … are mammals, no! They can not digest milk!
