How can I keep ants out of my hummingbird feeder?
Will the vasaline work if its on plastic? Its not hanging from a string - it came w/ a plastic hook attatched that I hung on a nail that's in my fence...... Thanks for all your help!
I had the same problem but vaseline didn't help. Try pouring some vinegar or rubbing alcohol on and around the post your feeder is hanging on. That should deter them for a while and in the mean time buy some ant killer to put at the base of the post. Use a liquid instead of a spray though so that they can carry it back to the colony.
