Hatching Eggs
Do I need both the creation and incubation of the machine or just hatching eggs for hatching chicks?

My obligation is to 400 chickens per month. Most of the specification of the incubator, "" The ability of establishment: 480 chicken eggs for hatching Capacity: 192 chicken eggs or 400 shetting only / or 400 for hatching only "is written. What is right for me?

Call the manufacture and get to clarify exactly what they mean. Any nursery hatch eggs, but they must be placed in an incubator. Otherwords, if 100 eggs hatching … and then put in an incubator …. then another 100 eggs may hatch, etc, etc. If the machine will hatch 400 eggs for 21 days, then take 400 chickens a month and put them in a incubator …. and then start over again …. but I can say this …. only get about 80-85% hatch rate if everything is perfect in the incubator. 15-20% of eggs do not hatch. You will have to start candling after about 6 days to determine that the eggs hatch, and discarding others.
