Where are all the birds in winter has gone? My feeders used to be empty in a day, what happens?

I used to have tons of birds at my feeders, which empties into a day. Now, in the last few years are fewer and fewer birds. I used to have pine siskins, goldfinches American climbers, chickadees, purple finches, chipping sparrows … Now do not get anything. The same has happened in my mother's house.
