Want to tame baby finches. Please answer. is my second time asking. There are no answers last time:?
I have 3 finches hatched baby yesterday and today (actually, 2 Today, the other born born yesterday). I want to tame them when they are old enough. I know it's possible. I held the babies in hand, parents do not seem to mind. Wen They just sit back in them again when I left aviary ยบ. If I have to talk for 5 minutes every day, will become meek? Also when I start to dominate them? When i can hand feed them egg? Anything else useful. I regret doing battle Thanx many questions!
Can hand feed or who are parents to eat? If you are part of the Fed, then they become very docile. However, parents will feed to spend time with them. There is no need to handle right away, but talking to them is a good start when they were just born. When they begin to open their eyes, and if the parents not seem to mind can begin to address them. I suggest twice a day. I am not suggesting that manipulation of the morning as this is a stressful time for parents. Trying to feed the hungry chicks in the morning is not easy! Suggest noon and evening, just before giving the final feed the chicks and are set to night. Although, I recommend the first watch to see how parents react to the handling of all files.
