SUDDENLY PINZONES dying!?

I lost a man and men Cordon Blue Zebra in a week. Very healthy. Good night til suddenly appeared before they were at the bottom of the cage almost dead in the morning. a night light is maintained. In a new cage which is slightly lower than last aviary. Gouldians in the same cage airsac had mites but cured. No symptoms of these two. Thoughts please?

The only way to know for sure is that the autopsy performed. If finches died because of the air sac mites, you should notice panting and a clicking sound in his breathing. This could also be indicative of some infections tract. Certainly consider the contamination of food or water source, but the killings continue, the autopsy can reveal the viral disease, fungi, chlamydia or bacterial infection. Would be worthwhile to save the rest of the pack. Colette http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/ParrotletsPlus/
