canary finches
Is it possible to mate a canary 9 weeks of age with a female finch 10 weeks old?

By the way im 14 and I was wondering, geez some people these days! And i wasn't planning on mating my self, I mean they may be able to make babies.

They should be raised that young. The minimum age for finches and canaries is usually 6 months of age (closer to a year is better) As for the cross breeding depends the type of finch. Islands can hybridize successfully with certain types of finches, but not all. Hybridization is generally frowned upon, however, some breeders canary goldfinch intentionally create hybrids to improve color and song. The hybrids are sterile and are commonly known as "mules"
