Please! Can you help? Brain injury?

My grandson, at only 12 years old, is currently on holiday in the Canary Islands. last week, the second day of his vacation, he woke up and the left side of his body was paralyzed. Hocpital did a brain scan, and found who has a brain injury, which was haemorraging. They stopped the bleeding, and he's in good shape, Besides the fact that he still can not move arm.Doctors leg or say it will take weeks, perhaps months, of intense physical therapy before he recovered the use of their limbs. It said its common in adults, but never I've seen it happen to a child so young. Does anyone have any idea? Should we go to a physiotherapy clinic, or we can do with him at home?

I research has shown that physical therapy after a stroke have better outcomes if performed in a specialized rehabilitation unit, ie in the hospital in the area. The haemorhage could have been a number of cases depending on the type of haemorhage – subarachnoid, subdural or extradural.
