Has anyone else been on a cruise with Royal Caribbean in Europe with a baby?

We booked a Royal Caribbean cruise from Southampton to the Canary Islands this October on "apparently" wonderful independence of the seas. Anyway, £ 3000 and later a total of £ 600 for our daughter who will be 17 months and then we discovered through sheer luck that children who do not wear diapers, are not allowed to swim in one of the pools or travel to areas of Aqua – even with a swim nappy / diaper. So my question is, does anyone else sailed with Royal Caribbean in Europe with a baby on board ship and learned that he could not swim? Even with a swim diaper / diaper?

My family left and his brother brought his daughter .. put a swim diaper and bathing suit in his shorts and he had realized what noboday took her swimming every day … only receives daugheter yoru a bathing suit and put a pair of shorts and they will never know the difference
